Variegated Plectranthus neochilus is a highly aromatic, succulent leaf perennial, which grows up to 50 cm high and 100 cm wide. The deep blue and purple flowers are borne from spring to Autumn. It is less vigorous than 'Lois Woodhull' and often reverts in part to green (you can just remove these shoots if you wish), creating an interesting contrast. A very useful, versatile species adapted to all situations. The foliage forms an attractive ground cover even when the plant is not in flower.

Successful in both sun and shade where the extremes of these two conditions can produce two quite different, but quite acceptable, looking plants. This is the ideal plant for edges of driveways and hanging over walls where it can withstand rough treatment, even from cars.
It will suffer some damage and dieback in hard frosts, but usually recovers in Spring.
